ABOUT US

AMPIP, the Mexican Association of Industrial Parks, was founded in 1986. It is a nonprofit organization representing private industrial real estate developers, investment funds, and state-managed trusts. AMPIP plays a critical role in Mexico’s economic development by promoting industrial parks as key infrastructure for production chains.

The association supports over 460 industrial parks and facilitates foreign investment by providing companies with insights into Mexico’s industrial strengths and available real estate. AMPIP also promotes best practices in environmental, social, and governance standards, contributing to sustainable industrial growth.

INDEX (National Council of the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry) is a leading organization in Mexico, representing over 1,200 multinational companies involved in export manufacturing through the IMMEX program.

For over 55 years, INDEX has contributed to 60% of Mexico’s exports and generated more than 3.3 million jobs. It plays a vital role in fostering growth, facilitating regulatory compliance, and enhancing competitiveness for its member companies. INDEX also promotes best practices and advocates for the sector at national and international levels.
